University Library Extends the Evening Rota for the Autumn 2026 Online Cohort

From September 2026 the digital library desk covers evenings and weekends across several time zones. Students can book a research appointment or ask for a search strategy.

Chat is staffed by librarians. Collections include e-books and journals for law, business, science, and the humanities.

The Bill Bryson Library and Palace Green remain physical spaces for collegiate students in Durham. Online access is included for enrolled students on both pathways.

The application fee is US$30 and is refunded in full if you are not accepted. Online tuition is £0. Collegiate residential study at the Palatine Centre, Stockton Road, Durham DH1 3LE remains a paid pathway.

Information-literacy workshops run twice weekly and are recorded. Attendance is recommended before the first major assignment.
